Programme description
Doses sends medication reminders and adherence confirmations to people who have agreed to receive them, and sends missed-dose alerts to a caregiver those people have nominated. These are transactional messages. We do not send marketing or promotional messages of any kind.
How to join
A family member or caregiver enters the recipient's mobile number at doses.care and confirms that the recipient has agreed to receive the texts. Every sign-up is reviewed by a person before anything is sent. The recipient then receives one message asking permission and must reply YES. Only then do reminders begin, and the moment they agreed is recorded.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message. All messages end immediately. We send one confirmation that they have stopped, and then nothing further. Reply START to begin again.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for support information, or email support@doses.care.
Message frequency
Frequency depends on the schedule you enter — typically one to four messages a day, plus an occasional alert to the caregiver when a dose goes unconfirmed.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Doses does not charge for messages; your mobile carrier may.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on your carrier and your handset.
What the messages contain
A reminder names the medication and dose exactly as you entered them, or says "your morning meds". It never names a condition or diagnosis. Replies that are not TAKEN or SKIP are not interpreted — they are forwarded to a person, and the sender is told to call their pharmacist or prescriber for anything about their medicine.
Privacy
See our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share mobile numbers with anyone for marketing.
